Wandering around in the dark has never been a very good idea. These days it has become a very, very bad idea, unless, of course, if you are carrying a big ass gun. Lucky for me I'm carrying two.
The world has gone ass end up as most had predicted, just a lot quicker than anyone could ever have dreamed. Funny that, seeing as it is the dreams themselves that have become the problem.
The beginning of the end was a new craze called lucid dreaming, people could experience there wildest fantasies in the comfort of these dreams. Or so we thought.
the advent of religion and science destroyed the ancient concepts of the spirit worlds that any shaman or medicine man knew instinctively. As we heedlessly stumbled towards our own selfish gains in a world we thought we controlled, things stumbled out.
And they were not our ancestors.
